In the System, where consciousness is encoded after death, an amnesiac Algus searches for his identity and the truth of the reality that confines him.
When Algus opens his eyes, he finds himself in a room with the sound of the sea and the voice of Elsa, a quantum artificial intelligence. He does not recognize his own face. He learns that he has been placed back inside the System as a consciousness severed from his former body, memory, and identity. GODCODE begins in a dark future where energy identities are transferred to quantum city servers after death. As the boundaries between memory, body, code, and reality dissolve, Algus discovers that he is more than a lost person: he is part of a much larger fracture hidden by the System.
